Camp Verde Cornfest July 14-15, 2017

Have a corny time at Verde Valley’s famous Camp Verde Cornfest July 14-15, 2017! This event takes place every year at Hauser & Hauser Farms, where they pick the corn right off the stalks and sell it just footsteps away at the Cornfest! There are plenty of food vendors, live music, kids activities, and of course, sweet corn, to keep you and your family entertained all day. This event is free to attend and begins on Friday, July 14 at 3pm and on Saturday, July 15 at 10am. Also be sure to check out the farmer’s market and head across the street to see a vintage baseball game where players wear vintage uniforms but the rules of the game are the same. Hauser & Hauser Farms is only a 25 minute drive from the Verde Valley RV Camping Resort.

Marysville Peach Festival, July 14-15, 2017

The 18th Annual Marysville Peach Festival kicks off this summer in Historic Downtown Marysville, California. This free, two-day street festival is attended by thousands each year and celebrates that juicy, flavorful summer fruit we all love – the peach! It was started in 1999 by Jody Sodaro of Sodaro Orchards. This year’s festival is located on D Street, between 1st and 3rd Streets in downtown Marysville, and is going to be jam-packed with entertainment for everyone. Ride the mechanical bull or let the kids blow off some energy at the Special Kids Zone. There will be live bands playing throughout each day of the festival and plenty of peaches to go around! Downtown Marysville is about 25 minutes from Lake Minden RV Resort. For more information about the Marysville Peach Festival, visit marysvillepeachfest.com.
