The 2017 Model Central Florida International Auto Show at the Orange County Convention Center will take place from Nov 24 – Nov 27. Also be sure to check out the emergency service vehicles on display like the 1929 antique fire engine and one ladder truck from the Winter Park Fire Department and the 2015 Fire Engine and 2015 Fire/EMT ambulance from the the Hall-Mark Fire Apparatus from Ocala, FL. Disney World has a plethora of dining options with some restaurants holding special holiday dinners, plus there are special holiday parades and magical surprises waiting around every corner of the park. If you can swing it, heading to the park earlier in the week is best; the biggest crowds tend to pour in towards the end of the week. There are lots of special events happening from now until the end of December at Disney World. Guests can snag tickets to a special holiday party, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, that allows access to the Magic Kingdom after hours. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party tickets range from $74-$89. Guests are treated to complimentary hot cocoa and cookies, access to all of the Magic Kingdom park after hours, and spectacular light and parade shows filled with surprises.
Also this year, is the first year of “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” a Christmas-themed night time spectacular that runs nightly at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Check out the Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot, Sanaa in Animal Kingdom, or The Hollywood Brown Derby in Hollywood Studios for special holiday menus. Be sure to check for available reservations prior to your desired dinner date. Walt Disney World is located just a 15 minute drive from the Orlando RV Resort.

If you’re seeking a glorious display of holiday decadence, visit the Stetson Mansion in Deland, FL. This is Florida’s first luxury home, built in the 19th century by philanthropist John B. Stetson. Every year from mid-November until mid- January, thousands of guests visit the Stetson Mansion to experience this spectacle of a holiday tradition. Green Valley christmas trees are always on display and the mansion is transformed with a different theme every year. Book your tickets to tour the Stetson Mansion in advance. The Stetson Mansion is located about 72 miles or less from the Orlando RV Resort.
