It’s Halloween at Thousand Trails! Whether you’re decorating your rig or just want to go trick-or-treating with the kids, we’ve got you covered this year! Check out ALL of the activities happening at TT campgrounds this Halloween. (Tip: Don’t want to scroll? Hit “command + F” and type in your desired campground to find the Halloween event at your TT campground!)

Bear Cave (MI)

October 21-23 – Halloweekend Part I
Ghouls, ghosts, and goblins beware! The campers of Bear Cave are trick-or-treating!

October 28-30 – Halloweekend Part II
Come back for more creepy cave tours and a haunted hayride!

Indian Lakes (IN)

October 21-23 – Halloween-themed Weekend
Decorating site contest, wagon rides, pumpkin painting, kids costume contest, and trick-or-treating

Timothy Lake North & South (PA)

October 21-23 – Little Camp of Horrors Weekend
Are you afraid of the dark? You better keep an eye out this weekend! Trick-or- treat, kids freeze dancing, hot goblin games, and kids’ costume parade.

October 28-30 – Fright Fest
2nd Trick-or-Treat Weekend! Masquerade Ball with prizes for best costume. Bring your scary dance moves! Music by DJ Mike.

Scotrun (PA)

October 28-30 – Trick-or-Treat
Enjoy a spooktacular weekend! Monster mash, Tarot card reading, pumpkin painting and more.

PA Dutch Country (PA)

October 21-23 – Ghoulish, Scary, Halloween
Campsite and golf cart decorating contest, Trick-or-Treat hayride, costume contest, needle in the hay stack, and lots of fun Halloween crafts and activities. Halloween Potluck Dinner along with live music at the end of the day!

Hershey (PA)

October 21-23 – 2nd Haunted Trail
Saturday, the ride to the pumpkin patch begins. Find your favorite pumpkin to decorate or carve. Join us for our annual parade and costume contest, followed by trick-or-treating. Our site decorating contest is back and the winner will be announced on Sunday.

October 28-30 – 3rd Haunted Trail
Take part in including a costume contest, trick-or-treating, and pumpkin carving.

Gettysburg Farm (PA)

October 21-23 – Halloween/Closing
This is one weekend you don’t want to miss. The campground is invaded with ghosts, ghouls and monsters. Pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating and a huge costume parade is on tap for Saturday. Don’t forget to decorate your campsite this weekend!

Circle M (PA)

October 21-23 – Halloween Spooktacular II
One weekend isn’t enough to celebrate Halloween. The spooktacular fun continues with more trick-or-treating throughout the park, wagon rides, a site decorating contest and a dance party on Saturday night!

October 28-30 – Zombie Apocalypse
The zombies will be attempting to take over all weekend long! Come out and play in a Humans vs. Zombies campground-wide competition. Don’t forget your costumes and candy as we will have more trick-or-treating throughout the park.

Rondout Valley (NY)

October 21-23 – Pumpkin Festival Weekend
Join us for a Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest; let’s see who the real champ is. Bring your favorite pumpkin recipe to share.

October 28-30 – Fright Fest Weekend
Halloween weekend, trick-or-treating, haunted hayrides, haunted pavilion, and site decorating.

Sturbridge (MA)

October 21-23 – Halloween Weekend
A haunting, fun weekend with trick-or- treat for the kids and a Halloween bash.

Williamsburg (VA)

October 28-29 – Halloween Weekend
Enjoy trick-or-treating, take a haunted stroll through the park, paint a pumpkin and enjoy a DJ dance.

Lynchburg (VA)

October 22 – Member Sponsored Halloween Weekend Celebration
Dare to take a haywagon ride and meet our ghosts, goblins and other spooks. Sip the witches brew, crunch her finger snacks, trunk-or-treat, join the cake walk and other games.Costume judging for the kids.

Chesapeake Bay (VA)

October 21-23 – Halloween I, October 28-30 – Halloween II
Be wary of TT ghosts and goblins lurking in the park! Decorate your sites to enter in the contest and hop on the haunted hay wagon to check out everyone else’s. Decorate your golf carts for the Scary Golf Cart Parade. Bring lots of candy to give out at trick-or-treating, then burn off all that candy at the Monster Mash Dance. Halloween costume contests for every age group!

Medina Lake (TX)

October 29 – Halloween Fun
We’ll have pumpkin carving, apple bobbing, piñatas, a costume contest, trick-or-treating, and a haunted mini carnival.

Lake Whitney (TX)

October 22 – Jack-O-Lantern Carving Contest
Bring your pumpkins. We will be carving them and lighting them up that evening for judging.

October 29 – Annual Trick-or-Treat
Trick-or-treat! Join us in front of the Family Center for our annual trick-or- treat! Costume Contest, games and Halloween Party.

Lake Texoma (TX)

October 24 – Pumpkin Weekend
Do you make the best pumpkin pie or bread? Join us for a weekend filled with pumpkins and see if your recipe is the best.

October 31 – Halloween
It’s Halloween again! We’ll have a carnival, trick-or-treat, and a lot more for our visiting ghost and goblins of all ages.

October 31 – Halloween Weekend
We will be having a carnival and the Trick-or-Treat Hayride. Let’s see if we can beat last year’s haunted trail.

Colorado River (TX)

October 24 – Pumpkin Carving Weekend
Bring your pumpkin to the Activity Center and get ready to be creative.

October 31 – Halloween Weekend
Don’t miss the fun! Hayrides and Halloween activities.

Bay Landing (TX)

October 28-30 – Halloween Costume Party
Kid’s party in the afternoon and adult’s costume party at night. This is our last big hoopla for the season and we always do it up right with lots of treats and goodies for all!

Natchez Trace (TN)

October 21-23 – Spooktacular
We are celebrating Halloween before the end of our season! We will have our famous Haunted Hayride. We will also have a trick-or-treat hayride and a spooky carnival.

Cherokee Landing (TN)

October 21-23 – Halloween
Join us as we celebrate Halloween on the park. Hayrides, bonfires, and candy for everyone!

Carolina Landing (SC)

October 29 – Fall Festival and Trick-or-Treat
Bring your kids to trick-or-treat in the park. Join us at the Clubhouse for our Fall Festival which will include pumpkin carving, costume judging, golf cart parade, games, food and drinks.

Lake Gaston (NC)

October 21-23 – Halloween
Enjoy crafts, games, food, and much more! Bring your own pumpkin to carve and enter the Pumpkin Carving Contest. For kids, a Kid Spook House, costume contest, trick-or-treating and more. There’s plenty for adults, too. Dress to impress for the adult costume contest then enjoy and party into the night at the Monster Mash. Don’t forget to bring your Halloween decorations for the site decorating contest.

Green Mountain (NC)

October 28-30 – Halloween
Golf cart parade, trick-or-treating, costume contests, decorated campers, and a Halloween party with live entertainment. This is our last big event of the season. Don’t miss it!

Forest Lake (NC)

October 28-31 – Halloween Weekend
Movie on the lawn Friday night. Pumpkin decorating on Saturday, plus a costume contest, site decorating contest, and trick-or-treating. Entertainment on Saturday night.

Peace River (FL)

October 28 – Friday Night Potluck/Pumpkin Carving
Bring your favorite dish to share at the Friday Night Potluck at 5:30 pm in the Lodge. Afterward, stay and show off your pumpkin carving skills!

Soledad Canyon (CA)

Pumpkin carving, a dance, and trunk-or-treating for the kids and a Haunted Hayride.

San Benito (CA)

October 29-31 – Ghostly Hallow
Events this weekend will include trick- or-treating and great carnival food with the world famous San Benito Deep Fried Twinkies!

Russian River (CA)

October 29 – Halloween RV/Tent Contest
Decorate your RV or tent for this fun event. Prizes will be awarded for “Best Decorations.”

Rancho Oso (CA)

October 29 – Halloween Fun Party
Paint your own pumpkin, trick-or-treat in the park and participate in the costume contest fun for all.

Pio Pico (CA)

October 31-November 1 – Halloween Spooktacular Weekend
Fun includes a haunted house, trick-or- treating and pumpkin carving. Dance the night away at the Costume Party!

Palm Springs (CA)

October 29-30 – Halloween Weekend
Decorate your site, rig, cart, bike, pet or yourself and you could win a prize. There will be Halloween-themed movies Friday and Saturday nights. Make sure to check the activity schedule for many more scary activities planned.

Lake of the Springs (CA)

October 29 – Goblins and Ghouls/Halloween Fun
Show off your spooky skills with our Pumpkin Carving and Site Decorating Contest. Don’t miss trunk-or-treating and a Haunted House!

Lake Minden (CA)

October 28-31 – Hydroplane Races/Costume Barn Dance
Join us for the always exhilarating Hydroplane Boat Races. These races are a Lake Minden favorite that promises rip-roaring, lake pounding fun and excitement. A little too much excitement? Take a break from the races for Candy Bar Bingo and the Ice Cream Social. Don’t forget to join us Saturday night for a good old- fashioned Barn Dance. We dare you to come in costume. (Swim beaches will be closed during the boat races).

Mount Vernon (WA)

October 30-31 – Halloween
Kids will be making their own trick-or- treat bags, followed by a movie matinee. And then a special flashlight candy hunt on Saturday night!

La Conner (WA)

October 29 – Halloween Weekend
Come join us for the Halloween Fright Night at La Conner, with all kinds of ghoulish play.

Chehalis (WA)

October 29 – 7th Annual Halloween Campers Creep Out
Decorate your campsite for our “Creepy Campsite” Contest! Saturday stroll through “Eerie Acres Cemetery” to the Family Lodge where inside it’s party time! Witch’s Brew Stew and cornbread, mulled apple cider, games, photo “stand-ups,” Costume Contest, cupcake decorating and Scare-a-oke! Admission $5 per person or a potluck dish.

Whalers Rest (OR)

October 31 – Whalers Rest Trunk-or-Treat
Come be a part of trick-or-treating at Whalers. Sign-up in the South Clubhouse with your site number so all the ghosts and ghouls know which sites to trick-or-treat at.

Seaside (OR)

October 31 – Spookiest Party of the Year
Trick-or-Treat on the property. Young ghosts and goblins can then meet at the Ghoulhouse for cider and donuts. Then the adults get to enjoy some spooky time!

Pacific City (OR)

October 29 – Spooky Halloween Weekend
Trick-or-treat comes a little early as we celebrate with a spooky scavenger hunt, pumpkin painting, and cookie decorating. Wear your costume and join us for a Halloween movie and weenie roast at the Lodge.

Cultus Lake (BC)

October 28-30 – Halloween Weekend
Friday Night Movie in the Family Center at 7:30 pm. Saturday we will have a pumpkin carving contest as well as treats for the kids. There will be an RV decorating contest over the weekend for the adults. Prize for the spookiest rig! Trick-or-treating will be held for the kids Saturday night from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Please leave your outside light on to let the kids know you are participating in this event.
