On the Go: National Trails Day®-  TT Round Up

June 30, 2015 by thousandtrails

Hikers, horse back riders, trail runners, and geocachers of all ages and levels celebrated National Trails Day on June 6, a nationally recognized day organized by the American Hiking Society to encourage Americans to visit and preserve the parks that make up America’s stunning national park system. National Trails Day® is a registered trademark of American Hiking Society.

Many of the folks at our Thousand Trails and Encore campgrounds celebrated National Trails Day® right on their campground! There were also many Walk the Trails events hosted by Club Blazer – the club for TT youngsters where they learn about nature, animals, ecosystems, and much more. Check out some of the highlights below!

Let us know how you Walk the Trails and celebrated National Trails Day®! Send us your photos or tell us about it in the comments!
