The Corvallis Fall Festival will celebrate 41 years this September 28-29 and if you spend the weekend at Whalers Rest in Oregon, you’ll be close enough to enjoy the celebration at this fabulous art fair which offers more than art. Three weekends of Oktoberfest fun are yours for the picking when you visit Leavenworth, Washington. The town hosts one of the biggest Oktoberfests in the country, one which they say is “the next best thing to being in Munich.” Choose from October 4-5, October 11-12 or October 18-19 and plan to stay with us at Leavenworth. The event will feature traditional German fare, as well as BBQ, music, games and a kinderplatz, an area just for kids complete with a climbing wall.
Snohomish Valley’s Festival of Pumpkins runs throughout October and offers visitors a variety of fun at pumpkin patches throughout the valley. Come celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving at Cultus Lake in British Columbia – the preserve will host a Thanksgiving Potluck on September 28. For information, contact the preserve.
While staying at Oregon’s Pacific City, don’t hesitate to join in the fun on October 5 and help decorate the family lodge for autumn and Halloween. Snacks will be provided!
La Conner in Washington will also celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving on October 12 with a Potluck Dinner. You bring the veggies and dessert and the preserve provides the turkey with all the fixings.
Spend some time at Birch Bay in Washington on October 13 to take part in the member generated Holiday Potluck at 5 p.m.
