Indiana
Horseshoe Lakes in Clinton, not only sells bait at the Trading Post but has 11, count ‘em, 11 lakes onsite. Expect to find crappie, bluegill, largemouth bass and catfish living in these waters.
Indian Lakes in Batesville has rustic cabins nestled between two waterways and even more, convenient, a boat launch on site.
It’s your choice where you want to fish at Twin Mills in Howe, which offers lake, river and pond fishing. Visit this resort, which is nestled against a 110-acre lake, and try your hand at catching bluegill, carp, largemouth bass, or yellow perch. There are also two fishing piers and a boat ramp.
Michigan
Stay with us at Bear Cave, which is conveniently located on the St. Joe River in Buchanan and you’ll find bluegill, as well as large and smallmouth bass.
