A Few of our Favorite Things…

The view and the mountains at Cultus Lake

Mount Vernon’s beautiful lodge, with its breathtaking view of Mt. Baker!

Leavenworth is a Winter Wonderland. The resort averages over 120 inches (10 feet!) of snow a season. If you love to snowmobile, over 200 miles of groomed snowmobile trails can be accessed from the property.  Plus, the preserve is short drive from the world famous Christmas Village, which is consistently voted and ranked as one of the top Christmas Holiday Villages in the USA!

Birch Bay favorites include the ease of local shopping destinations and deals and the fact that the preserve is nestled between bay waters and the Cascade mountains. Birch Bay is a location boasting a scenic plethora of geographical dimension and the best of the “north-est” Northwest.

Pacific City’s list includes the wildlife, the warm and inviting lodge, and the spot where “the forest meets the beach.”

Favorite things for Whalers Rest include the short walking distance to the Pacific Ocean beach and the warm indoor swimming pool and spa as well as the opportunities for fishing and sightseeing in both directions from the preserve within minutes. Also, the crazy fun theme parties for the whole family hosted by the preserve.

On the Calendar:

Pacific City has a New Year’s Eve celebration planned, complete with hats and noise makers.

Rose Bowl 2013 has Wisconsin and Stanford meeting on the gridiron. Watch the game with friends at La Conner’s Rose Bowl Party, held in the preserve’s Family Center. Bring a snack to share.
