If you’re new to the RV world, there may be some terminology floating around that you’re not quite familiar with. The definitions below may help you feel like a full-timer!
Boondocking: Camping without the use of electric, sewer or water hookups.
Dump Station: A place where holding tanks can be emptied.
Full-timer: Someone who travels or lives in the RV most of the year.
Full Hookup: This refers to the site amenities provided at your RV Resort or Campground and usually includes electricity, sewer and water.
Slideout: Most newer model RVs feature this option for extended living space – extend the slideout and you have a few more feet of space.
Toad: Terminology for a towed vehicle behind the RV.
