What’s to be thankful for in the Northeast? The variety of options. From the plains of the Midwest to the rugged shores of Maine from the serenity of Pennsylvania’s Dutch Country to the quaint beach towns of the Jersey shore and more.
The 11 Lakes at Horseshoe Lakes: What’s better than the opportunity to fish 10 different lakes all nestled in the beauty of this 290-acre wooded campground located in Clinton, Indiana.
The Ideal Beach Vacation: There’s plenty to choose from if you’re looking for sun and sand. Gateway to Cape Cod in Rochester, Massachusetts, Maine’s Moody Beach or the three gems tucked away at the Jersey shore that include Chestnut Lake, Lake and Shore or Sea Pines are all perfectly situated for the ideal beach vacation.
Homespun Heartland Fun: Check out the resorts in Illinois, Michigan and Ohio for some of the best of the Midwest. Don’t miss Bear Cave, which features the only cavern in the Great Lakes area
An Indoor Waterpark! A stay at Pennsylvania’s Timothy Lake North provides you the opportunity to splash the day away in this spectacular, seasonal indoor waterpark.
Chocolate: Visit our Hershey Preserve and your just 6 miles from Hershey’s Chocolate World. Who doesn’t love chocolate?
We are Thankful
We know that we are thankful for our “Thousand Trails family” but we also asked our preserve managers to share their thoughts on what they are thankful for, as well as what they believe (based on member comments) our members are thankful for. Here’s what they had to say…
Pine Country – Our members are thankful that we have an Olympic size heated swimming pool, large grassy areas to enjoy your pet in, and a 4000 square feet plus Indoor Outdoor Pavilion with a fire place for family reunions or parties. I am thankful for the family fun atmosphere and friendly campers that come to Pine Country for their outdoor experience. The weekend activities really bring the community together for a fun filled weekend.
Northeast Regional Manager ~ I believe our members are thankful for all the memories they made this season at their favorite parks and the new friendships they developed along the way. I’m sure many of them are looking forward to a quick winter season, so they can get back to what they love …camping!
